We took a walk...

Yesterday we took a walk.

Just KJ and me

and obviously, Christopher.

Actually for most of the walk, I waddled and he RAN

But occasionally he'd stop long enough for me to hold his hand.

and smile at me in a way that made me think we should do this more often.

On the way there, we avoided all of the cracks because they were lava.

On the way back, we stepped on all of the cracks because they were water to quench our "fire feet".

It was our very first walk to school.  But maybe not the last.

We walked down to the neighborhood Elementary school to register this BIG boy for BIG school.

How can that be?  Shouldn't that still be him in my tummy?

Unfortunately, I managed to delete all of the pictures of him in front of the school sign and signing his name- you know, the actual "registering part".  The main purpose of the trip in the first place.

I was frustrated at first that I deleted those moments.

But I don't think those are the things we'll remember anyway.
I think we will remember this walk.
